About Longer With You
Longer With You is the practical and customer-facing publication in the Pet Longevity Network. It keeps companion guidance, human education, and research-use-only commerce in separate lanes so a commercial path does not quietly borrow authority from an editorial one.
Three publications, one disclosed network.
Longer With You, Longer Tails, and Long Live Companions share operations within the Pet Longevity Network. Longer Tails owns evidence interpretation. Long Live Companions owns sourced stories and rituals. Longer With You owns practical context and customer-facing conversion. Links between the publications are disclosed network routes, not independent endorsements.
A page must earn the right to be public.
A health-adjacent guide is not published merely because a draft exists. Dynamic guides must have a canonical URL on this domain, substantive original copy, an explicit limitations section, at least two directly relevant citations, approved factual claims, and recorded review provenance. Records that do not pass that publication gate stay out of public routes and the sitemap.
Sources are chosen for direct relevance and authority. Primary studies, professional guidelines, regulators, and veterinary institutions are preferred over summaries. A source is not treated as proof of a claim it did not test. Population findings do not become predictions for one animal, and mechanistic findings do not become treatment advice.
“Reviewed” means exactly what the page says it means.
An editorial source check confirms that the cited record supports the adjacent statement and that the page retains material limitations. It is not veterinary review. A clinician, researcher, photographer, grief professional, or other specialist is named only when that real person reviewed a stated scope. We do not invent contributors, credentials, or implied medical approval.
Editorial context does not change intended use.
Research-use-only products remain research-use-only. They are not medicines, supplements, veterinary products, or instructions for human or animal use. Companion-care articles do not recommend, dose, or route readers toward research products. Commercial availability, supplier data, and product imagery do not determine an editorial conclusion.
Illustration cannot masquerade as evidence.
Product assets must preserve the supplied product and label. Generated editorial imagery is illustrative, not documentary evidence of a real animal, family, clinic, researcher, or outcome. Where a photorealistic image could reasonably be mistaken for documentation, its illustrative status should travel with the image or it should be replaced with a clearly art-directed alternative.
Material changes leave a trace.
Clear factual errors are corrected promptly. Material changes to a conclusion, regulatory status, source interpretation, or commercial boundary should be dated on the affected page. We do not silently rewrite a conclusion to make an older article look as though it always said something new.
